Trafford Centre: Einen Stern zu Ehren eines geliebten Menschen benennen.

The ceiling of the food court is decorated with more than 6,000 stars, and this Christmas, visitors can dedicate one to a loved on.

The scheme allows people to create lasting memories by naming a star „in honor of someone special, marking a cherished moment, or finding a unique gift for someone difficult to buy for“.

All proceeds from the „Name a Star“ initiative will be donated to the center’s chosen „Fountain Fund“ charities: Stockdales, FareShare Manchester, and Look Good Feel Better.

Simon Layton, center director at the Trafford Center, said: „Christmas is a time for generosity and togetherness, and through this charity initiative, we have a wonderful opportunity to share those values in a meaningful way.

„From speaking with our guests, we know that so many people have special memories of visiting Trafford Center with loved ones, each with their own unique story to tell.

„This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to celebrate those cherished memories with a unique gift.

„And by coming together to support our local charities, we’re creating a brighter Christmas for everyone.“

To name a star, people should email [email protected] by December 6 with their chosen name.

For a £30 donation, supporters will receive a certificate with their dedicated name and see their chosen name displayed on a plaque within The Orient for the next year.
