Frische Eindrücke der französischen Landschaft mit Agathe Meunier

French illustrator Agathe Meunier has a unique style that combines vast outdoor settings, bold forms, and unexpected colors. Her work captures the stillness of landscapes with energetic palettes and speckled textures, giving it a natural yet unnatural feel.

Agathe draws inspiration from her surroundings, often reinventing color palettes and exploring new landscapes. Her art is influenced by her experiences traveling and cycling through different regions of France, where she photographs and sketches the beauty of nature.

One of her most memorable series features the boulders at Côte de Granit Rose in Brittany, showcasing her talent for composition and drawing. Agathe’s use of risograph printing adds a unique touch to her work, allowing her to experiment with colors and textures.

In addition to her personal projects, Agathe co-founded Dynamo Studio, a microprinting company, with Camille le Clainche. Together, they work on exhibitions, workshops, and small editions, often creating images inspired by their surroundings during residencies in various locations.

Agathe’s collaborations with Bisart and Canevas Fatal have allowed her to adapt her artwork into printed patches, screen prints, and embroidery packs. Her creative process is constantly evolving, influenced by the constraints and possibilities of different mediums. Trained at prestigious art schools in Paris and Strasbourg, Agathe continues to pursue her passion for illustration while exploring new and innovative ways to showcase her work.
