Essen Studio: Eine global verteilte Agentur, die Kreative an erster Stelle stellt.

In an industry where late nights, endless meetings, and mental stress are common, EAT Studio stands out. Established in 2009 by two Brazilians after the financial crisis, this design practice has quietly earned a reputation for innovative work while prioritizing the wellbeing of its team.

Based in Los Angeles and Paris with members worldwide, the studio marks its 15th anniversary this year. Co-founder Renata Morris explains their vision of creating a place for creatives to thrive, inspired by her own challenges as an immigrant in Los Angeles.

The studio’s innovative remote-first approach emerged when co-founder Gabriel Seibel moved to Paris, leading them to run a studio across a nine-hour time difference. Their experience with remote working over 15 years gives them valuable insights on leading remote teams, particularly post-pandemic.

EAT’s team is spread across LA, Paris, Lisbon, and Brazil, with a focus on strategy, branding, and graphic design for technology and gaming clients. Their deliberate approach to growth and focus on personal growth sets them apart, as they prioritize work-life balance and encourage their team to explore the world.

Their unique operational philosophy includes not working crazy hours or weekends, emphasizing personal growth and learning. The founders also prioritize their partnership, attending weekly therapy sessions to ensure open communication and a strong working relationship.
